Aquael Fan 3 Plus - filter sponge insert

These Aquael sponge cartridges are made of carefully selected, phenol-free sponges.

They provide efficient mechanical filtration of the water by capturing impurities and suspended solids visible to the naked eye.

At the same time, they provide a substrate for the growth of nitrifying bacteria for biological filtration.

For optimum performance, cartridges should be replaced regularly. Maintenance should only be performed in the "old" aquarium water that was drained from the aquarium during the water change.
