Yarrah - purely organic since 1992
The entire Yarrah range is natural and purely organic - all products are free from artificial additives, pesticides and flavour enhancers. Since 1992, the Dutch manufacturer has only processed animals that have had a better life than those from large fattening farms. Yarrah was born out of a healthy dissatisfaction with the shortcomings of the pet food market. Organic is not a trend for the manufacturer, but a conscious decision to bring about positive change. Animal testing is of course taboo.
EU Organic
The EU organic label is the European mark for organic food produced in accordance with the EU Organic Regulation. The label specifies how organic plant and animal foods are produced: Ingredients in the products must be at least 95 per cent organic. No organic synthetic pesticides or chemical synthetic fertilisers are used. GMO-free production. Species-appropriate animal husbandry in terms of ventilation, space and comfort requirements as well as light requirements of the animals. Feeding with organically produced feed without the addition of antibiotics and performance enhancers. When treating sick animals, herbal or homeopathic medicines are preferable. The feeding of animal meal is prohibited. For labelling purposes, the organic inspection code number and the origin of all ingredients (EU and non-EU) must be clearly visible in the field of vision of the EU organic logo on the product.
