The main source of nutrition for the wolf, the progenitor of our dogs, is of course meat and fish. However, it also ingests fruit, herbs and vegetables via the stomach contents of its prey or searches for and eats these specifically. This is how the wolf gets the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and phytochemicals it needs. However, the composition of RANGE LAMB goes one step further. The individual food components have been put together with scientists according to type and quantity, which means that RANGE LAMB meets the latest knowledge (about the nutritional needs of dogs). Superfoods and natural prebiotics also contribute to this. MOS: is a type of dietary fibre and can improve digestion and strengthen the immune system. FOS: is a prebiotic dietary fibre. Can help maintain a healthy intestinal flora and are considered natural antagonists of E. coli bacteria. Yucca schidigera is a member of the asparagus family and can help the body to counteract harmful stimuli. RANGE LAMB combines the original with the needs of your dog, thus enabling a natural and species-appropriate daily diet. All ingredients of this unique combination serve to maintain the health of your dog.

Dog food modelled on the wolf

Wolves hunt their prey in the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe, and the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. This provides them with meat and nutrient-rich offal, but also with vegetables, fruits, berries, roots and herbs from the stomach contents of their prey. Cereals are not included here. This is how the wolf gets the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances it needs. Since the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, Wolfsblut dry dog food is based on the wolf's natural eating habits. It contains a lot of meat or fish combined with superfoods that contain valuable ingredients – and, as in nature, completely without cereals. The selection of exceptional meats and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on the wolf's habitat and its colourful variety of food. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate and original diet, and with its wide range of varieties, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
