CO2 is the most important nutrient for plants. Without the addition of CO2, plants do not develop optimally. CO2 System Bio is a simple solution that supplies extra CO2 to the plants in the aquarium. We recommend a room temperature of 20-25 °C for ideal use of the product.

Instructions for use

1. Add 300ml of warm water to the bottle. Approx. 50°C.

2. Place the non-vented cap on the bottle and shake vigorously for one minute or until the contents are thoroughly mixed.

3. Then leave the bottle at room temperature for at least 24 hours until the contents have developed into a firm gel.

4. Meanwhile, soak the CO2 diffuser in clean water.

24 hours later

5. Add one portion of Activator to 200ml of lukewarm water. Max. 35°C.

6. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes and then stir until the activator has completely dissolved in the water.

7. Then pour the mixture into the bottle.

8. Place the seal in the cap with the ventilation opening and place it on the bottle.

9. Attach the air tube to the bottle at one end and to the CO2 diffuser at the other.

10. Place the CO2 diffuser in the aquarium.

11. Now wait for CO2 production to begin. Depending on the temperature, this usually takes a few hours.

The set is now installed and you can produce CO2 for up to 60 days with Activator Refill.
