Tetra FilterActive contains a mix of live starter and sludge-reducing cleaning bacteria.

If regular cleaning is necessary, some of the important bacteria in the aquarium are lost. Tetra FilterActive can be used to compensate for bacterial losses caused by water changes or filter cleaning.

Tetra FilterActive contains live starter bacteria that colonize the filter materials in the filter and thus ensure the biological balance in the aquarium. These so-called nitrifiers are important for breaking down the substances nitrite and ammonia, which are harmful to fish. In this way, immediate support for biological activity in the aquarium can be guaranteed.

In addition, Tetra FilterActive contains mulm-degrading cleaning bacteria, which keep the filter clean for longer in a natural way. They accelerate the biodegradation of organic soiling such as fish excrement, mulm accumulations, food and plant residues. This increases the performance of the filter and extends the cleaning interval.

It also promotes the bioactivity of the substrate and prevents putrefaction. This contributes to the health and well-being of the aquarium inhabitants and reduces the maintenance of the aquarium.

Tetra FilterActive contains natural bacterial cultures and is 100% biological.
