Occasionally, the underwater scenery and its inhabitants may be obscured from view. If the aquarium panes are covered with algae or a biofilm, this is usually not a problem for the animals, but it is, of course, unsightly for the observer. Spot algae can often only be removed with a lot of pressure.
Water spots and light limescale marks are also an annoying problem, especially in open tanks.

The Sponge Hard is designed precisely for these types of dirt. The upper side consists of fine, woven steel wool and cleans the panes without scratching the glass. With little pressure, the aquarium can be cleaned quickly and easily, right into the corners.
