Sal tree leaves
Sal tree leaves are a healthy and natural supplementary food for shrimps, crabs and crayfish and also serve as a water conditioner.
Sal tree leaves can be used in aquariums and terrariums. In rainforest terrariums, the leaves are suitable as a natural substrate.
The substances contained in the leaves of the sal tree have an astringent effect and can therefore have a positive effect on the aquarium water.
The valuable tannins, tannins, stearic acid and oleanolic acid make the leaves an all-rounder in natural aquaristics.
Preventive and supportive for:
- bacterial infections
- fungal infections
- Fungal spawning
- Bite and abrasion wounds
To make the sal tree leaves sink faster, you can also briefly douse the leaves with hot water before placing them in the aquarium.
As this is a purely natural product, the shape and size of the leaves may vary.
