Bat roost

The Neudorff Wild Gardener Joy bat roost offers bats, which are a protected species, a safe haven. It protects the small animals from sunlight, weather and low temperatures, as well as from predators such as birds of prey thanks to the narrow entrance slot. The ideal location for the roost is freely accessible, at a height of at least 4 meters and protected from direct sunlight. It is best to attach it to the top and bottom of a house wall or tree with screws or nails so that it will hold even in strong winds. To extend its lifespan, it is advisable to paint it with linseed oil or another natural wood preservative.
