Mangrove leaves

The mangrove leaves not only serve as a natural water conditioner in the aquarium, but are also a very healthy supplementary food for shrimps, crabs and crayfish in the aquarium.

In addition to aquariums, mangrove leaves can of course also be used in terrariums.

In a terrarium, mangrove leaves can be used as a natural substrate.

Mangrove leaves have a slightly antibacterial effect and can therefore have a positive effect on the water in your aquarium. The valuable polyphenols, carotenoids, flavonoids and tannins make these leaves a great all-rounder in natural aquariums and terrariums.

The mangrove leaves are preventative and supportive for bacterial infections, fungal infections, spawn fungus, gill worms, parasite infestations and bite wounds.

To make the leaves sink faster, you can briefly douse them with hot water before placing them in the aquarium.

As mangrove leaves are a purely natural product, the shape and size of the leaves may vary.
