Mamoninha capsules

The Mamoninha capsules may not be one of the largest natural products for aquariums and terrariums, but that doesn't make them any less of an absolute eye-catcher.

Mamoninha capsules, or botanically Brasiliocroton mamoninha, come from Brazil and are dried capsules.

In the aquarium, the mamoninha capsules also provide a great hiding place for small shrimps and due to their size of 3 to 4 cm, the capsules are also ideal for nano aquariums.

The Mamoninha capsules can also be used as natural decoration in terrariums, adding that certain something to the terrarium.

As the Mamoninha capsules are a purely natural product, the size and appearance can understandably vary slightly.

In the aquarium, the Mamoninha capsules take a few days to sink. You can also weigh the capsules down with a small stone at the beginning and remove the stone as soon as the capsules stop floating.
