In community aquariums with different fish species, the ornamental fish that are kept will also have different demands on the fish food. JBL PRONOVO BEL takes into account the different types of nutrition and offers your fish a wide variety and diversity for a natural and healthy diet. If you want to perfect the food supply, you can supplement the main food JBL PRONOVO BEL with other types of food from the JBL species concept and with treats.
JBL PRONOVO BEL staple food, the perfect diet for all omnivorous fish and fish communities With a protein-fat ratio of 6.3:1, exactly the right ratio is achieved, which is ideal for most tropical fish species. Higher fat contents lead to organ fatty degeneration in warm water fish (23-30 °C)! In fish communities, as in most community aquariums, the 15 main ingredients of PRONOVO BEL form a perfect nutritional basis, which can (but does not have to) be supplemented with species food in order to customize the diet to fish species and make it even more varied. It is not a problem if, for example, your fighting fish also eats the food for your barbs and vice versa. It is only important that you offer the right food for each group of fish. Variety is always a good thing!
It is really important to select the food size to suit the mouth size of the fish species. Flakes soften quickly and can be eaten by almost all fish species. Granules are a different matter. The smallest mouth size of the fish being kept should be decisive for the size of food selected. The size of fish for which the food is suitable is indicated at the bottom left of the cans. It is better to choose a food that is slightly too small than too large!
The subject of garlic: Fish are of course not familiar with garlic from their habitats. But: Observations on JBL expeditions in the South American Pantanal showed that fish spurn the underwater plants and prefer to jump out of the water to eat the seemingly tastier leaves of the bushes and trees at the edge of the water! These contain more flavor than the "sticky" underwater leaves. Exactly this effect is achieved by adding garlic.
