Bacterial starter for freshwater and saltwater aquariums for the problem-free introduction of aquarium fish
Adds millions of beneficial, autotrophic and pollutant-degrading bacterial strains to the aquarium water, enabling fish to be stocked immediately. Highly recommended after the use of medication and complete cleaning
Shake the bottle well, measure the correct amount in the dosing cap and distribute evenly in the aquarium
Living bacterial cultures with enzymes for rapid pollutant degradation in fresh, brackish & seawater. The bacteria have been inactivated so that they do not need food (NH4, NO2) in the bottles and do not produce NO3. Activation through water contact
Purely waiting for a healthy bacterial population is of little use in aquaria, as hardly any useful bacteria develop in a new aquarium without water pollution. Bacteria only react with multiplication when there is a lot of food (NH4, NO2)
Scope of delivery: 1 bottle of Denitrol
Nature at home - home for fish and plants
Fish should feel as comfortable in the aquarium as they do in nature. During set-up and partial water changes, the aquarium needs sufficient active bacteria to biologically clean the aquarium and quickly break down harmful substances. Bacterial starters contain highly active, beneficial bacteria that break down ammonium/ammonia and nitrite in the water. At the same time, fish excretions and other organic waste are broken down.
Advantages of JBL bacterial starters
Living, autotrophic bacteria, breakdown of ammonium/ammonia and nitrite by active bacteria, breakdown of fish excretions and other waste.
Autotrophic bacterial strains grow somewhat more slowly than heterotrophic bacteria, but do a faster and more efficient job of breaking down pollutants (nitrification).
8 complementary bacterial cultures for the degradation of protein, ammonium and nitrite.
Immediately after adding JBL Denitrol, gradually start stocking fish in newly set up aquaria.
It is often discussed whether fish should be introduced one day after setting up a new aquarium. Microbiologists have found that bacteria multiply very slowly in a new aquarium if there is no water pollution (food for the bacteria). However, if fish are introduced the next day without a bacterial starter, ammonium / ammonia problems occur because bacteria initially multiply too slowly and cannot keep pace with the increase in pollutants. When using JBL Denitrol (60 min. after adding JBL Biotopol), high quantities of bacteria are added immediately. When the FIRST fish are introduced the next day, these bacteria are also fed and begin to multiply. This ensures that sufficient bacteria are present right from the start and that neither ammonium/ammonia nor nitrite become a problem.
