The appearance of blue and smear algae is a sure sign of the collapse of the biological balance.
The water and/or soil conditions are so disturbed that oxygen-consuming putrefaction processes have begun, to the detriment of fish and plants.
A basic cleaning of the tank is necessary in the vast majority of cases.
As a life-saving measure, the combined use of Femanga Algae Stop! Special with Femanga Bakto Fit has proven successful, which on the one hand destroys the algae carpets (subsequent suction) and on the other restarts aerobic processes.
In severe cases, the combination Femanga Algae Stop! General and Femanga Algae Stop! Special should be applied in the prescribed dosage. A water change of one-third of the tank contents is recommended.
Note: For rainbowfish, the dosage should be added throughout the day, as some species do not tolerate the product when the full dosage is added.
