A new feature is the “Xtender”: If the filter media are dirty and the water flow is slowing down, you can readjust it using the rotary knob. This means you don't have to intervene immediately and gain a few days until the next cleaning of the filter media. Biological filtration (detoxification) is still maintained by diverting the water flow. The professionel 4+ has a new color scheme. The filter comes in a modern anthracite grey and is supplied with matching hoses, pipes, etc.
