Dennerle Bacto Elixier FB7 is a highly effective, concentrated mixed culture of selected live cleaning bacteria. They become active immediately when added to the aquarium and start breaking down harmful substances.
Powerful nitrifying bacteria eliminate dangerous ammonia and nitrite. Mulm-degrading bacteria use hydrolytic enzymes to reduce the organic sludge at the bottom and in the filter.
Other types of bacteria specially bred for aquaria feed on plant and food residues, fish excrement and organic turbidity.
