Biokat's DIAMOND CARE Multicat Fresh is a clumping, innovative natural clay litter especially for multi-cat households, which contains activated carbon for highly effective odour control and absorbency. This is obtained from coconut shells, a renewable raw material. Activated carbon is a highly porous carbon body with an enormous inner surface area; one gram of activated carbon provides a surface area of around 1,000 square metres. The 2-in-1 Fresh Lock Formula combines 100% natural activated carbon and the AromaProtect Formula. This reliably encapsulates unpleasant odours and releases a pleasant, fresh scent that is emitted by the blue pearls in the litter. The fine-grained litter is dust-free and forms flat clumps on contact with liquid, trapping odours and urine. The litter is produced using a micro-process, which means that the grains are shaped so that the form, depth and firmness of the clumps are more even. The cat litter consists of 100% natural clay and comes from controlled and ecologically sustainable open-cast mines in Germany.
