The bamboo leaves can be used in both aquariums and terrariums. In rainforest terrariums, the bamboo leaves are suitable as a natural substrate.

Similar to the sea almond tree leaves, bamboo leaves are a natural water purifier for the aquarium and are a protein-rich and fibre-rich snack for shrimp.
