Bio-CO2 is a specially developed microbial carbon source to increase the health and growth of plants in freshwater aquariums.

Bio-CO2 uses beneficial bacteria and natural humic acid to improve the absorption and utilization of all important nutrients, such as plant fertilizers.

Bio-CO2 promotes healthy plant growth and intensifies the colourfulness of plants by optimizing nutrient absorption. At the same time, it prevents the growth of unwanted algae.

Liquid CO2 in the bottle?!

After dosing, the bacteria contained in our Bio-CO2 produce CO2 that can be used by plants thanks to a biological process from the humic acid it also contains.

Important: The CO2 that can be used by the bacteria for the plants cannot be measured using long-term tests.

Tip

For maximum plant growth, use Bio-CO2 in combination with our fertilizer series and halve the dosing quantity when using a CO2 system. a high plant density naturally prevents the growth of algae.

Recommended use

Dosage (initial dosage): Add 10 ml to 100 liters of water on the first day.

Dosage (subsequent dosage): Add 2 ml to 100 liters of water every 1-2 days.
