Aquael Magic Algae Stop comes in the form of a small bag that can be placed in any internal or external filter, or simply hung in the current.

Thanks to its unique properties, it inhibits the growth of green algae, the so-called "green water". It removes algae from the water, restoring its clarity and transparency.

It works on the principle of chemical sorption, which efficiently absorbs phosphates, nitrites and nitrates from the water as a natural nutrient solution for algae.

Their removal very effectively stops the growth of algae without harming fish, shrimp and plants.

Recommended use

Application:
Before use, rinse thoroughly under running water and then insert into the filter chamber. If there is no suitable filter in small tanks, the bag can also simply be hung in the current. For this purpose you can use e.g. a feeding clip or a filter bag or tie it to a suitable suction cup.

One bag is designed for an aquarium with a capacity of up to 100 l and lasts 6-8 weeks. For a larger tank, use several bags or change them more frequently (in proportion to the size of the aquarium).

CAUTION!
After 6-8 weeks, the Algae Stop bag will be filled with phosphate taken from the water and may release it back into the water. Remove it from the filter and replace it with a new Aquael Magic Algae Stop bag. The effectiveness of the bags may vary depending on the conditions in the aquarium.
