How does CarboMAX Plus work?

The activated carbon used for the production of CarboMAX Plus has excellent absorbing properties, thanks to which it absorbs the toxins dissolved in the water. It neutralizes heavy metal ions and chlorine in tap water, making it usable for aquarium purposes. It removes colorants from water and restores its crystal cleanliness. The CarboMAX Plus absorbs residues of pharmaceuticals and other chemical substances.

Where and when does CarboMAX Plus prove its worth?

CarboMAX Plus proves excellent as a filter layer in canister filters, overflow filters and internal filters adapted to loosening substances. CarboMAX Plus should be used in newly created aquariums to improve the quality and transparency of fresh aquarium water. It is especially recommended for use in exhibition aquariums, where an appropriate decorative effect should be achieved within the shortest possible time. It is also used when recoloring the aquarium water and after the completion of fish therapy with the use of chemical substances.

How to use CarboMAX Plus?

CarboMAX Plus filter cartridge is ready for immediate use and does not require rinsing or other preparation for use. The contents of the package are placed in the filter basket or chamber. For best results, it is recommended that the CarboMAX Plus cartridge be placed after the mechanical filtration cartridges and before the chemical filtration cartridges.

How long does CarboMAX Plus work?

The mode of action of the CarboMAX Plus filter insert (sorption) causes it to gradually fill and wear out. In order to maintain optimal filtering properties, it is recommended to change it no less frequently than every 4 weeks.
