This colored quartz gravel is coated with a plastic and is CO2-resistant and lightfast.
Rinse the quartz gravel thoroughly before placing it in the aquarium.
Note: The colored gravel has a plastic coating and may only be rinsed with lukewarm water before use. Do not wash hot! Do not heat above aquarium temperature! The gravel is PH-neutral and, thanks to the use of a special resin, does not release any substances into the water and is therefore guaranteed non-toxic.
The substrate can be sand, gravel or a mixture of both. Attention should be paid to the needs of the fish.
The average gravel should be rounded and have a maximum grain size of 2 to 3 mm.
A gravel layer of 6 to 8 cm is recommended so that the aquarium plants can also form sufficient roots. Amazonas gravel offers a natural substrate suitable for all fish species and their habitats.
Aquariums can also be beautifully designed with this colored quartz gravel. Its high-quality plastic coating prevents fading, which is why it is also referred to as lightfast and Co2-resistant.
